ABOUT ME
My name is Nathan Liddell. I am a happy husband, proud father, and blessed minister and apologist. I have served as a Christian minister for twenty-two years and I have worked as the full-time minister of the East Alameda Church of Christ, Aurora, Colorado, for almost sixteen years. I also serve on the board of The Daily Apologist, a 501c3 apologetics organization for whom I write, edit, and speak (see thedailyapologist.com for more information).
I am interested in Christian philosophy and apologetics generally and I take a special interest in Thomistic realism. Having earned degrees in Biblical Studies (Memphis School of Preaching) and German and Philosophy (University of Memphis), I hope to begin pursuing an MA in Philosophy with a concentration in Ethics at Holy Apostles College and Seminary, Cromwell, Connecticut, this Spring. When I am not working or studying, I enjoy playing chess, fly-fishing, going for walks with my wife Mandy and our dog Max, watching movies with my daughter Mia (Jurassic Park is our all-time favorite!), drinking Peet's coffee (Costa Rican Blend) and reading anything by Chaim Potok, and camping in our home state of Colorado.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by The Dumb Ox, a little blog where I write about all the interesting things I am studying, especially Thomism. Along the way at The Dumb Ox, I hope to work through many questions I have, answer some bad arguments against the Christian faith, and regularly talk about what is so great about following Jesus. (I might also try to convert you to reading everything by Chaim Potok. :D Big fan!)
Again, thanks for reading and may God bless you!
